Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a PRN Caregiver for our Sandy, UT location. The role covers on-call shifts including weekends, assisting with daily living activities, emotional support, and maintaining a safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities include mobility help, meals, housekeeping, health monitoring, and documentation in EMR. A valid CPR/First Aid certification and a Food Handler's Card are required, with a genuine passion for improving seniors' lives.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver in memory care or assisted living preferred.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must have a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records.
• Candidate must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility, meal setup, and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential environment for residents.
