Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant for evening shifts in Macomb, IL. You will support residents with daily living needs, meals, and social engagement, upholding their dignity with compassion.

Responsibilities include following care plans, communicating changes to the branch leadership, and assisting residents with dementia. A High School Diploma or GED is required, CNA training is expected within six months. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Willing to complete CNA course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve and support care per their plans.
• Assist in activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch leadership when resident needs change.
• Care for residents with dementia using appropriate approaches.
