Bickford Senior Living in Rockford, IL is seeking a caring Caregiver Assistant to support residents daily life with dignity and compassion.

You will provide daily living activities, meals, and social engagement, following service plans, and communicate with branch leadership when needs change.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, are willing to complete a CNA course within six months, and hold CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Aufgaben

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
