Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care in a warm, dignified setting. Day and evening shifts are available with starting wages around $15.25 per hour and options for daily pay depending on scheduling.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, and social engagement while communicating changes in resident needs to branch leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional state-required trainings.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including ADLs, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
