Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional state-required training or education.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Care for residents with dementia with appropriate approaches.
