Job summary

GLORY CARE RESIDENTIAL LLC is seeking a compassionate caregiver in California to assist residents with daily activities and health support. The role involves helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, meal prep, and light housekeeping, while promoting engagement in activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of caregiving experience. CPR/First Aid and background check are required; CPI/MAB is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months–1 year caregiving experience required.
• Skilled in basic cooking, cleaning.
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and assist mobility.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Current TB test, Physical, CPR/First Aid card required.
• HCA/DSP certification preferred; CPI/MAB is a plus or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Medication assistance per Regs.
• Prepare simple meals, housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning
• Accompany residents to appointments and activities
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage engagement
• Observe and report health or behavioral changes
• Maintain documentation, shift notes, and communication logs
• Support life skills and daily routines with a helpful attitude
