Job summary

Better Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents with daily living activities in a home-like setting. You will assist with personal care, monitor health, administer medications per plan, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State certification requirements vary by location.
• Must pass background check and TB test.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs.
• Provide nursing services per plan of care including medications, skin care, ROM, and monitoring.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mealtime setup, service, and cleanup, ensuring nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage participation in recreational and social activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow facility protocols.
• Create a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and needs with courtesy.
