Job summary

Grand Villa of Sarasota is seeking compassionate care staff to join our team. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, administering medications (for med techs), and monitoring health status in a supportive, patient-centered community.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician (preferred) or relevant caregiving experience.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including overnight hours.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies (for med techs).
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Document care activities accurately and timely.
• Foster a compassionate and respectful atmosphere, ensuring residents’ dignity and well-being.
