Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Med Tech certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry while promoting independence.
• Interacts with residents at all levels with empathy and respect.
• Observes and reports changes in health and emotional well-being to supervisor.
• Serves and assists residents in dining rooms during meals.
• Initiates and participates in leisure activities per activity calendar.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment at all times.
• Performs daily housekeeping per schedules.
• Responds promptly to residents' requests for assistance.
• Communicates effectively in languages understood by residents.
• Ensures residents sign out when leaving the community.
• Maintains a safe working environment free from hazards.
• Follows safety practices and body mechanics.
• Assists associates as needed and trains new staff.
• Takes initiative on special projects and assignments.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Supports Florida applicant requirements as applicable.
