Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming dining environment and collaborate with staff to meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities include following menus, ensuring quality and safety, managing basic inventory, and delivering excellent service. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
