Job summary

Eskaton in California is seeking a Resident Care Associate for the AM shift. This full-time role provides compassionate personal care to residents in a residential care setting and collaborates with the care team to support daily living activities. Starting pay ranges from $20.65 per hour to $23.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a residential or long term care setting preferred.
• Valid/current first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides companion care including reading, visiting, and assisting with personal tasks as listed in resident plans.
• Assists residents with bathing and hygiene to maintain cleanliness.
• Makes beds, straightens rooms, and keeps care areas organized.
• Assists with dressing and promotes independence while ensuring safety.
• Promotes safety and assists with exercises as directed by nursing staff.
