Job summary

Eskaton is seeking a Resident Care Associate for the NOC shift in California. The role provides essential resident care, companionship, and daily living support within a nonprofit aging network. Strong team orientation and adherence to safety are required.

Starting pay range is $20.65–$23.20 per hour, with competitive benefits and a 401K program. Applicants should have 6 months of care experience and a current first aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a residential or long term care setting preferred.
• Valid/current first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides companion care such as reading, visiting, answering personal correspondence, assisting with bill paying or other tasks per resident’s plan of care.
• Provides or assists in bathing or showering for resident cleanliness.
• Makes beds, straightens rooms, keeps care area organized.
• Assists residents in dressing and maintains privacy.
• Promotes independence and safety in resident care.
• Assists with range of motion or exercises as directed and ambulates resident as per plan.
