Job summary

Avenues Home Care is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support elderly and vulnerable clients in the Chattanooga area. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation while maintaining compassionate, professional care.

The role requires reporting to supervisors via agency systems, adherence to HIPAA and company policies, and flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time, and varying shift lengths.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills are required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Proficiency with Homecare Company Management System—ClearCare.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living as outlined in their plan of care.
• Provide medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor and maintain logs.
