Fahrney Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro (near Hagerstown) seeks a Unit Helper / Caregiver for the Assisted Living and Memory Care Unit. Day shift with alternating weekends. Provide care for residents according to their individual needs and facility policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, feeding when required, monitoring health, transporting residents to activities, and maintaining a safe, confidential, and respectful environment as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• Provide care for residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care Unit.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies.

Responsabilités

• Check residents and rooms for safety and comfort.
• Respond to call bells and notify staff when assistance is needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and feeding as needed.
• Transport residents to activities and dining areas.
• Record intake, meals, and participation in activities.
