The role supports nurses and aides with non-resident care tasks, assists with dining service, activities, and light housekeeping, and requires a high school diploma and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurses and nursing assistants as needed.
• Passes ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Marks and passes supplies, makes beds, and helps serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Sets/cleans tables, cleans dishes, and stores dishes.
• Assists in passing snacks to residents.
• Transports residents to activities and conducts one-on-one activities.
• Assists with housekeeping tasks including waste removal and wheelchair cleaning.
• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Fulfills other non-resident care duties as assigned.
