Portsmouth Health and Rehab in Portsmouth, OH, is seeking a Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to assist nurses and nursing assistants with non-resident care duties and day-to-day tasks. This role supports dining, mobility, transport, and light housekeeping in a compassionate care environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and must pass a background check. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with negotiable pay and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurses and nursing staff as needed.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities and conduct one-on-one activities with residents.
• Assist in cleaning activities including emptying linen/trash bins and cleaning wheelchairs.
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse and supervisor.
• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.
