Job summary

Music City Detox is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to help create a safe, supportive environment for clients enrolled in our program. You will answer questions, adjust routines as needed, supervise clients, and prioritize safety and well-being.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, monitoring rounds, de-escalating incidents, and coordinating with therapy staff. This role requires strong communication, teamwork and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
• Valid state driving license with clean record in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory and log belongings.
• Monitor clients and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• De-escalate incidents and report changes in condition.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper logbooks.
