Job summary
JourneyPure Knoxville is looking for a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in their daily activities and recovery journey. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, monitoring client safety, assisting with daily activities, facilitating group sessions, and documenting behaviors. A high school diploma is required, and experience in behavioral health is preferred. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off.
Qualifications
Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Monitor client safety and provide supervision at all times.
Assist clients with daily living activities and routines.
Facilitate groups and recreational activities as assigned.
Document client behaviors and interactions accurately.
Support clinical staff in implementing treatment plans.
Conduct room checks and ensure facility rules are followed.
Provide transportation for clients as needed.
Respond to crisis situations and follow proper protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized environment.
