Job summary

Attain Behavioral Health Toledo is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide one-on-one and group support to patients in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor progress with the treatment team, maintain records, and help create patient-centered plans while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary treatment team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to patients during their recovery journey, promoting a healthy and safe environment.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as medication management, meal planning, and personal care.
• Monitor and report patient progress to our clinical team, ensuring that individualized treatment plans are being implemented and modified as needed.
• Participate in group therapy sessions, providing emotional support and facilitating patient engagement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, Progress Notes, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry best practices and evidence-based interventions.
