Job summary

Wellbrook Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-on-one support to patients with mental health and substance use issues at our in-person addiction treatment center in Ohio. You will work under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional to help implement treatment plans and deliver ongoing care.

Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient progress, administering medications under supervision, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to patients to help them manage their mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.
• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment approaches and techniques.
