Tucson Indian Center in Tucson, AZ seeks a Behavioral Health Technician/CHR to provide culturally competent behavioral health services under an outpatient treatment model. The role emphasizes assessments, documentation, case management, CHR outreach, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The incumbent maintains active Arizona BHT certification and reports to the Practice Manager, supporting patient care coordination, referrals, and health promotion activities within TIC’s behavioral

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Behavioral Health or related field preferred.
• Two years of related case management experience required.
• Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
• Experience providing DSM-V diagnosis in patient care settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides behavioral health assessments meeting required content and appointment time requirements.
• Documents all patient services in the EHR and supports billing and audits.
• Participates in case staffing and peer review sessions to assure quality of care.
• Collaborates with TIC care team and external providers to coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge through trainings and certifications.
