Job summary

The Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, OH seeks a Health Unit Coordinator who will provide direct patient care underRN supervision, maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, and perform delegated clerical tasks on the unit.

Responsibilities include obtaining measurements, vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, documenting in EMR, coordinating patient flow, and supporting emergency responses as part of the care team. CPR certification is required after hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year direct patient care experience.
• HS diploma or GED and enrolled in related degree program.
• CPR certification must be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical measurements and vital signs.
• Perform EKG strips and collect specimens for lab pickup.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Document in the EMR and obtain RN co-signature.
• Maintain a calm, healing environment and respond to patient needs.
• Provide Health Unit Coordinator clerical support on the unit.
