Job summary

Snyder Village is seeking an Assisted Living Caregiver to provide compassionate daily living support to residents in a licensed senior community in Metamora, IL. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, ensuring safety, dignity and comfort during every shift.

The role requires flexibility to cover 24 hours based on residents’ needs, work in a senior-care setting, and adhere to Snyder Village policies while maintaining a warm, respectful environment for residents and

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other personnel and departments.
• Must be able to spend approximately 95% of work time walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, or lifting. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties per established policies, procedures, safety rules.
• Observes residents and reports changes in condition.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Bathes, dresses and grooms residents as assigned.
• Feeding assistance and meals supervision as needed.
• Reminds residents to take medications when appropriate.
• Keeps rooms neat and manages housekeeping tasks.
• Transports residents to appointments and activities.
