This role requires a strong commitment to patient observation and adherence to care plans, along with a deep understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Observe and report any changes in clients\' conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals.
• Lift and transfer clients safely as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to coordinate care effectively.
• Stay informed about first aid procedures and emergency protocols to respond appropriately to crisis situations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred.
