Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's preferred.
• Previous admissions, intake, customer service, or healthcare outreach experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries from patients, families and referral partners.
• Conduct initial screenings to determine eligibility and appropriateness of care.
• Guide patients through admissions including insurance verification and forms.
• Maintain accurate admissions records in electronic systems.
• Build relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Represent the facility at outreach events and meetings.
• Collaborate with clinical staff for smooth intake-to-treatment transitions.
• Track admissions data and report to the Director of Outreach and Admissions.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
• Provide compassionate, respectful communication to individuals in crisis.
