Job summary

Horizon Behavioral Consulting, Inc. in Mishawaka, IN seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver direct ABA services to children under ongoing BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized plans, collect session data, and help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills.

This in-person, full-time role emphasizes hands-on work, professional development, and a supportive team focused on ethical, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current RBT certification preferred; candidates may be considered on requirements.
• Ability to work under close supervision of a BCBA or qualified supervisor.
• Experience with children, autism, or developmental/behavioral health needs preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment protocols and maintain professional boundaries.
• Dependable attendance, strong communication, patience, willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Implement skill-acquisition programs for communication and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies per client plans.
• Collect accurate data and document client progress timely.
• Follow ABA teaching procedures and support therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment during sessions.
• Communicate progress with supervisors, caregivers, and team.
• Maintain client confidentiality and complete documentation per policy.
• Participate in supervision, competency checks, and ongoing training.
