Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) in Clayton, NC to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities through ABA techniques. You will collect data, implement plans under supervision, and coordinate with families and professionals to drive progress.

The role emphasizes patient care, HIPAA-compliant documentation, and ongoing training to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• RBT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
