Senior Clinical Recruiter at Kelly Services

Comparator Sourcing Specialist, External Partnerships (EP) is responsible for ensuring comparator products for clinical supply, including sourcing, procure-to-pay, S&OP, and order management processes. This role plans between J&J Clinical Supply Operations and vendors, identifies opportunities for cost savings, and serves as a primary connection for issue resolution. The External Partnerships team focuses on delivering cost-effective clinical supply in a compliant, supply-efficient manner to support Successful Patient Dosing. Collaboration with internal partners and external vendors is essential for success.

Responsibilities
  • Sourcing of comparators from preferred suppliers
  • Collaborate with vendors to identify supply that meets technical, cost, and lead time requirements of the Clinical Supply Integrator
  • Manage POs from requisition through invoicing to PO closure
  • Coordinate with vendors to manage sourcing cycle times, drive actions at order level for KPIs, budgets, supply coordination, and decisions related to clinical supply activities to ensure uninterrupted supply to patients
  • Escalate appropriately and support resolution of critical risks and issues, including communication to External Partnerships management
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Quality, Engineering, Clinical Source Documentation, Logistics, Planning, and Clinical Supply Operations to ensure effective supply chain management
  • Identify short-term opportunities to drive cost savings and protect supply
  • Ensure project timelines and business performance goals align with GMP guidelines and all compliance requirements
  • Support cross-functional projects to improve business processes/tools
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Clinical Supply Chain, Comparators, Sourcing or Procurement
  • Ability to influence supply chain teams in an international environment through negotiating and partnering
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to vendor sites and cross-functional stakeholders in written and oral forms
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage complexity
  • Experience with Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams
  • Ability to anticipate gaps or problems and the impact on supply-related processes
Preferred
  • Master’s Degree
  • Supply chain certification (e.g. APICS)
  • Experience with several clinical supply processes such as supplier relationship management, inventory management, supply chain management, supply planning, Lean and Six Sigma, systems (e-marketplace, OMP, SAP R/3 or ERP)
  • Experience with GMP and/or Quality Management Systems
  • Ability to identify process gaps from data or root cause analysis and predict impact on supply-related processes
