Now entering its 29th season, Florida Rep produces nine professional productions annually in its two downtown venues and welcomes more than 100 professional actors, directors, stage managers, designers, technicians, and other theatre artists each season.
The Company Manager serves as a primary point of contact for visiting artists, creative professionals, seasonal staff, and interns and oversees the day-to-day logistics that support their work and residency at Florida Rep. This position combines administration, logistics, hospitality, and hands-on work. The successful candidate should be equally comfortable coordinating artist travel and union paperwork, solving an unexpected housing problem, setting up an apartment, doing laundry, or driving an artist to the airport. This is a full-time, salaried position with regular evening and weekend responsibilities based on artist, travel, and production schedules.
Florida Rep welcomes applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds. Previous theatre or performing arts experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant experience in hospitality, travel, logistics, administration, event management, customer service, or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should have excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; be comfortable managing multiple priorities and responding to changing circumstances; and be proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to safely operate company vehicles, be available for evening and weekend work as required, and be able to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Florida Rep offers two compensation options based on the successful candidate's housing needs:
Salary within the applicable range is based on experience and qualifications.
