Sittercity.com in San Francisco, CA seeks a warm, reliable companion to support an older couple in the Mission. You’ll accompany them to appointments, run errands, help with meals, light housekeeping, and ensure daily routines run smoothly in a respectful, patient manner.

Ideal candidates enjoy food and conversation, are proactive, calm, and good at communicating. Experience with older adults is a plus; no car is required.

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, engaging person to provide companionship and household support for an older couple (82 & 71) in the Mission. Both are bright, engaged and largely independent. One occasionally uses a rollator; the other is undergoing cancer treatment, so we’d love someone who can become a trusted presence and help make daily life easier.

Responsibilities

• accompanying them to appointments/walks, arranging Ubers, grocery shopping, cooking/meal prep, laundry, dishes/tidying, occasional medication reminders, and helping with appointments and day-to-day logistics.

They love great food, cooking and farmers markets, so someone who enjoys food would be a wonderful fit. We’re looking for someone warm, calm, dependable, proactive and communicative. Experience with older adults is a plus.

M/W/F, ~5 hrs/day (15 hrs/week), late morning–mid-afternoon. $30–35/hr. No car required.
