Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a compassionate Companion/Homemaker to help seniors live safely at home. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and engaging companionship to support clients daily.

Flexible shifts are available; the role includes competitive pay, 1:1 client ratios, and opportunities for online training, CEUs, tuition discounts, and career advancement within a nationwide caregiver network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CO driver's license with auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, shopping, and transportation.
• Offer companionship through activities, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Homemaker/companion, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, helping with pet care, and companionship
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Homemaker/companions:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid CO driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
