Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Highlands Ranch invites compassionate individuals to join as Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver, delivering at-home care to seniors with dignity and respect.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support safe home living, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Covid-19 vaccination card required.
• Valid CO driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, shopping and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).
• Monitor patients overnight as needed.

• Monitor patients overnight

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Covid-19 vaccination card
• Valid CO driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
