Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience as Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and boundaries.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on care and encourages socialization and light exercise.
• Reminds to take medications on time to support compliance.
• Assists with bathing, toileting, dressing, and light housekeeping.
• Assists with grocery shopping and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Arrives on time and completes duties as scheduled; follows precautions.

Pay Range $18.57-$21.00 / per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provides hands on care such as:
  • Providing and encouraging socialization
  • Encouraging a mild exercise program
  • Encouraging medication compliance through timely reminders to take medications
  • Assisting patients/clients with bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Assisting with grocery-shopping; and performing light housekeeping chores
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
• Arrives at the client’s home on time and leaves when shift schedule is complete
• Performs all duties in an accurate and timely manner
• Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One (1) year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred
• Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries preferred
• Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills preferred
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• Computer proficiency required
