Senior Helpers is seeking Companions for a variety of day shift hours, starting at 2-hour visits up to 6-hour shifts. We provide care in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Nursing Homes, and Residential In-Home Care.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
• TB Test: 2 Step PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest X-Ray
• Social Security Card
• Ability to work with male and female clients
• Comfortable with cats and dogs
• Comfortable with clients that smoke
• Ability to take clients out in personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures when required

Job Duties

Job duties may vary based on clients' personalized care plans but include:

• Driving clients to appointments and errands
• Housekeeping: dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms
• Meal preparation
• Engaging in activities: games, coloring, listening to music, reading
