Job summary

ClearLand Ohio, LLC seeks a Compact Track Loader Operator with a Class A CDL to join our Central Ohio crew. This full-time role requires operating CAT compact track loaders and related heavy equipment at client sites, performing pre/post inspections, and following project plans and safety standards.

You will transport equipment, load/unload on trailers, coordinate with teammates, and complete required job documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with E or No Restriction and clean driving record required.
• Proficiency operating CAT compact track loaders and similar heavy equipment; basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to work safely outdoors, follow safety protocols and wear PPE.

• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and navigating uneven terrain.

Compact Track Loader Operator with Class A CDL

Company Description ClearLand Ohio, LLC provides land clearing, property reclamation, and overgrowth management services in Central Ohio to help property owners regain safe access and full use of their land. The company uses commercial-grade equipment to remove briars, vines, saplings, and invasive weeds that create access, pest, and drainage problems. By clearing overgrowth, ClearLand Ohio helps reduce habitat for ticks, rodents, and snakes, improving safety and comfort for property owners. Role Description This is a full-time position (with no winter layoff) will deliver services at client locations throughout Central Ohio. The operator will use a compact track loader and related heavy equipment to clear brush, remove weeds, and reclaim overgrown properties according to project plans and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include transporting equipment to job sites using company vehicles, performing routine equipment inspections, and conducting basic maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication. The role involves following site layouts, safely operating machinery around structures and utilities, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The operator will also communicate with team members and supervisors, load and unload equipment on trailers, and complete required documentation related to jobs, safety, and equipment use.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with E or No Restriction, with a clean driving record and experience safely operating commercial vehicles.


• Proficiency in operating CAT compact track loaders and similar heavy equipment, including basic troubleshooting and maintenance.


• Ability to work safely in outdoor environments, follow safety protocols, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.


• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.


• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working on uneven terrain for extended periods.


• Prior experience in land clearing, construction, landscaping, or property maintenance is preferred but not required.


• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; willingness to learn company processes and equipment operation best practices.
