Job summary

Leppo Rents is looking for skilled Technicians/Mechanics to service a fleet of skid steer and related equipment in our Tallahassee shop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machines, ensuring fast, reliable service for customers and a smooth workflow for the team.

We seek hands-on professionals who troubleshoot quickly, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental to keep the shop moving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience repairing and servicing equipment—skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and more.
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly, diagnose accurately, and return machines to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment—mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Handle routine maintenance to keep rental fleet ready to work.
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot efficiently.
• Keep accurate repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
