Job summary

La Ville de Philadelphie recherche un stagiaire pour l'automne 2026 au sein de l'Unité de planification communautaire. Le poste est à temps partiel et exige de travailler au maximum 20 heures par semaine, sur site.

Le stagiaire réalisera une analyse qualitative des plans des communautés de Philadelphie et organisera les recommandations pour les thématiques couvertes par Philadelphia 2050.

Qualifications

  • Étudiant(e) inscrit(e) à un programme de premier cycle dans le domaine de la planification urbaine ou similaire.
  • Bonnes compétences en recherche et en analyse qualitative.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse qualitative des plans préparés pour diverses communautés de Philadelphie.

The Department of Planning and Development works in collaboration with communities to promote, plan, preserve, and develop successful neighborhoods for all. Reaching these goals requires city agencies to work together with residents, businesses, developers, advocates, funders, and each other. Planning and Development has a team of agencies that do just that.

Description du poste

The Community Planning Unit is in search of a Fall 2026 Intern. The intern in this position will work a maximum of 20 hours per week, in person.

The intern job duties will entail qualitative analysis of plans prepared for various communities throughout Philadelphia. After the initial analysis, the intern will review the data and organize the recommendations from the plans to align with the topic areas covered in Philadelphia 2050.

Qualifications

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate level studies, two- or four-year program in City & Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Urban Design, Geography, Urban Studies, Community Development, Public Administration, Public Policy.
