Job summary

Pima County’s Community & Workforce Development department is seeking a Community & Workforce Specialist II to manage TABE testing and related administrative duties at the Kino and Northwest Service Centers. Travel between locations is required, with duties including client assistance, data entry, and program support.

The role requires an Associate degree in a relevant field and at least one year of health, customer service, or human services experience; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college, university or technical school in management, public or business administration or a field related as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment AND one year of professional experience in health, customer service, human services, or a closely related field.
• Or one year of experience with Pima County as a Community and Workforce Specialist I or similar Pima County position, as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Testing of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test following standardized testing parameters.
• Travel to Kino Service Center or Northwest Service Center as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients in person or by phone regarding services provided by the training department.
• Maintain accurate records of program participants and their progress.
• Provide administrative support and assist with program goals and objectives.
