Job summary

Pima County's Community & Workforce Development Department seeks a Community & Workforce Specialist II to administer TABE testing and perform related administrative duties. The successful candidate will work independently, make quick decisions, and be familiar with the ADA, with strong problem solving and organizational skills.

They will communicate with clients in person or by phone about training services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in management, public or business administration or related field and one year of professional experience.
• Or one year of experience with Pima County as a Community & Workforce Specialist I or similar position.
• Qualifying education and experience must be documented in the Education and Work Experience sections of the application.

Responsibilities

• Administer TABE tests following standardized testing parameters.
• Provide direct services to clients via phone, email, or in person.
• Assess client needs and guide on appropriate employment, education, or financial resources.
• Match qualified candidates with resources, coaching, or support.
• Maintain accurate program participant records and progress.
