Job summary

Green River College is seeking an Outreach Coordinator for Workforce Education to connect diverse communities with educational pathways, training, and support services. You will develop outreach, recruitment, and engagement strategies and partner with community organizations to expand program visibility and enrollment.

Reporting to the Director of Workforce Education, you will coordinate events, track enrollment metrics, maintain partnerships, and promote access to educational opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years in human services, workforce development, student services, or recruitment.
• OR an Associate's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse students, colleagues, employers, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and information about Workforce Education programs and services to community members, employers, and partner organizations.
• Develop and implement outreach, recruitment, and engagement strategies that increase awareness of Workforce Education opportunities among diverse student populations and community partners.
• Collaborate with external organizations to plan, promote, and participate in recruitment events, community outreach activities, and student engagement initiatives.
• Represent Green River College and Workforce Education programs at community events, workforce development meetings, employer forums, career fairs, school visits, and partner organization activities.
• Coordinate outreach activities and track enrollment outcomes to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, partnerships, referrals, event participation, recruitment efforts, and enrollment outcomes.
