Job summary

NYC Administration for Children’s Services is seeking a Community Coordinator to support the Wellness program across the five boroughs. You will assist in planning wellness activities, coordinate events, and track attendance and outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills, with a focus on promoting employee wellness and data-driven reporting across ACS locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in community work or related area.
  • At least 6 years of experience with alternative qualifications as stated above.
  • Experience with wellness initiatives and stakeholder engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to ACS office locations across the five boroughs to conduct and support health and wellness activities and events.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, setup, facilitation, and breakdown of wellness programs, workshops, and events.
  • Deliver wellness activities aligned with Employee Wellness objectives.
  • Promote engagement with Wellness Ambassadors and Champions to boost participation.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, professional environment at all locations.
  • Track participation data and report metrics to supervisor.
  • Prepare regular reports summarizing participation and trends.
