Job summary

The Center for Wellbeing and Happiness (CWBH) within The Lower East Side Girls Club of New York seeks a compassionate Program Coordinator to build relationships with community members and help them access wellness services and classes. You will provide crucial administrative support and work with a diverse population in a full-time, on-site role on the Lower East Side.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or related field.
• 2+ years of program coordination or community outreach experience.
• Experience delivering services to underserved populations in the Lower East Side/Chinatown is a plus.
• Fluent in English with professional working proficiency in additional languages listed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as logistics lead for CWBH membership, enrollment, and attendance.
• Promote enrollment forms/links in coordination with the Community Wellness Coordinator.
• Track attendance and program metrics to assess effectiveness.
• Maintain records for all program activities and referrals.
• Staff the front desk, direct members to classes, and promote services.
• Participate in team meetings to improve programs and services.
