Job summary

Fresno American Indian Health Project is seeking a Driver/Transporter to provide safe, reliable transportation for clients, staff, and community members. The role involves coordinating trips, ensuring on-time service, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

The driver will support departments as needed, maintain HIPAA privacy, and assist with transportation policies while serving diverse populations in Fresno, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client transportation with staff to ensure timely service.
• Safely transport clients to and from appointments and programs.
• Monitor passenger safety and maintain professional boundaries.
• Perform daily vehicle cleaning and safety inspections.
• Maintain logs of mileage, fuel, and maintenance.
• Report vehicle issues to the Executive Administrator.
• Assist with transportation policy development and training.
