Job summary

VOALA in Los Angeles is seeking a Driver for Head Start/Early Head Start programs, responsible for delivering meals, transporting participants, and supporting donation pickups on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will be on-site, must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks, and have a California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operation, route maintenance, and service to program participants and staff

Qualifications

Requires fingerprint clearance and background check.
Must have access to an automobile with adequate insurance and a CA driver’s license.
Proof of TB clearance and required vaccinations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly when needed.

Responsibilities

Transport program participants to and from locations.
Assist passengers with wheelchairs, car seats, and mobility devices.
Perform kitchen drop-offs and assist with inventory and loading.
Conduct scheduled routes for pick up and drop off.
Take donation pickups from outside agencies.
Maintain trip and mileage records; keep vehicle clean and serviced.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
