Job summary

Helptucson in Tucson, AZ is seeking a safety-sensitive Transportation and Support Associate for the Homeless Work Program. The role involves driving a 15-passenger van, transporting clients to worksites, and supervising up to seven clients daily.

You will perform light landscaping, participate in meetings, ensure vehicle safety, and provide administrative support. Requires a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a 15-passenger van.
• Strong administrative, writing and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and communication abilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Flexible hours and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Spanish or ASL skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to the Homeless Work Program.
• Drive a 15-passenger van and trailer, pick up clients, and drive clients to work sites.
• Oversee and participate in light landscaping work and supervision of up to 7 clients a day.
• Participate in meetings, planning, and duties as assigned.
• Provide transportation for clients as required, using agency vehicle.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and needed maintenance.
• Other tasks as assigned.
