Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving commercial type van/bus or passenger driving experience.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
• Clean DMV record for 36 months.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret written documents.
• Negative TB skin test and/or negative chest x-ray within the last 6 months and monthly thereafter.
• Negative drug screen and pass a background check as required by Cascades policy.
• Medications that could affect driving must be reported to the Activities manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to residents; assist residents on and off the vehicle and into/out of buildings.
• Report issues involving daily schedule to the Activities Director.
• Handle emergencies and basic first aid.
• Engage with residents during outings and assist activities personnel as needed.
• Deliver groceries and packages to residents' apartments.
