Rural Community Transportation, Inc. is hiring a Van/Bus Driver in our Operations department. The role centers on safe, courteous transportation services with an emphasis on reliability and customer care.

The driver will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, assist passengers, and maintain documentation while adhering to safety policies and regulations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position requiring a valid CDL and DOT readiness.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid for by RCT).
• High School completion or equivalent; commercial driving experience preferred (2 years).
• Ability to drive safely in all weather conditions and provide excellent passenger service.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, on-schedule transportation for passengers in Agency vehicles.
• Maintain passenger confidentiality and deliver courteous customer service at all times.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to the Operations Manager.
• Follow safety rules, traffic laws and company procedures; assist passengers as trained.
• Maintain professional appearance and complete required trainings.
