Job summary

WORK Inc. in Massachusetts is recruiting Community Training Specialists to support four individuals with Autism moving into a new home near Kingston, with close proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44.

You will promote social inclusion, provide mentorship, and help empower and enhance the quality of life of young adults. The role requires compassion, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the human services field; internships or volunteers may substitute for work experience.
• Massachusetts Driver’s License required.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing opportunities for individuals to be part of their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
• Provide for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
