Job summary

WORK Inc. is seeking a compassionate Community Training Specialist to support four individuals with Autism moving into a new home in the Kingston area, MA. The role focuses on promoting social inclusion, mentorship, and enhancing quality of life.

Responsibilities include developing community opportunities, documenting progress, and coordinating healthcare needs. Internships and volunteer experience may substitute for work history; a valid MA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the human service field; internships/volunteer experience count toward the requirement.
• Preference for candidates with direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing opportunities for individuals to participate in their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
• Coordinate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
