Job summary

WORK INC in Quincy, MA is seeking a Community Training Specialist (CTS-Direct Care) to support clients with daily living tasks and promote independence. The role includes building relationships with clients, families, and service providers, and implementing care plans.

The position offers a full- or part-time schedule with benefits; required are ASL fluency, being 18+, a valid driver’s license, and a High School diploma. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

• Assisting clients with completing hygiene tasks and developing independence, responsibility, and self-worth.
• Preparing and implementing program goals, individuals’ service plans, and treatment plans.
• Developing positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers.
• Assisting clients to obtain appropriate healthcare services and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
• At least 18 years old.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• High School diploma.
